2021 Batch 2 Oak Aged Community Cider

2021 was a hard year for us. It was only our second year of operation and we had almost total crop failure.

Our community ciders come from the generosity of family, neighbours and other local businesses willing to help us in a time of need. Therefore, we will be giving back to the community by giving 50% of the sales to two charities in The Ottawa Valley: The Ottawa River Institute, and The Robbie Dean Foundation.

This crisp cider was made with apples generously given to us by family, friends and neighbours. It was fermented and aged for 18 months in a red wine barrel. We also added a wee bit of honey, generously donated by Restoration Honey Bee Company, at bottling to add natural bubbles.

This cloudy dark amber cider has notable tannins and an oaky character over a juicy fruity cider.
