Batch #1 - 2020 - Barrel Fermented Pet-Nat Wild Cider
Our first ever commercial pressing.
Fermented in oak used for red wine, Batch 1 is a complex, off-dry cider that is quite fun to sort through. On the nose there are hints of green apple, mead, and a spiciness open to interpretation. Its sourness and soft tannins leave your mouth watering. This batch was bottled before fermentation was complete to give it a slight natural effervescence.
As with all of our ciders, this was made with untreated wild apples and contains no additional sugars, preservatives or sulphites.
